yes .. and decided to close the nzdjpy this morning .. i just wanted to check it out, but opening both at the same time buggered me the whole day yesterday. Lesson learned.

Well I wouldn't open two trades like AUDUSD and AUDJPY. I don't look into correlation maps or anything like that just use common sense.

I try to stick with one trade at a time

I wouldn't have been looking to take any buys of that small candle, only trade I would have taken is the breakout trap trade, but best to wait and see todays close

emm wick are formed by the market. Or maybe you meant something else, please explain what you meant
