Confuse about Different Sessions in Forex

I am totally Confuse about the use/importance of Sessions (New York, Asia, Austrailia etc)
If Market Open at monday morning and close at friday night. Then what are the role of these sessions during the week???

country interest of currencies, market is worldwide for forex, 24 hours, 5 days a week.

Asia - new zealand, australia, japan (NZD AUD JPY)
European area and England - EUSTXX50 and FTSE index for stocks (currency GBP EUR CHF)
USA - Dow jones, S&P500 for stocks, then GOLD, SILVER (currency USD CAD)
