Hi guys- just setting up MT4 on a new laptop. Some things won't change colour for some reason. The D+B indicator is white and my fib tool is showing yellow. When I click either and change the properties (to black for example) and click ok, nothing happens. It's driving me barmy....any ideas...

On my fxpro mt4 platform, I notice that besides the standard forex pairs, there are lots of other charts to view. Do people stick to only trading forex or do the pa techniques we are learning translate to other markets? Obviously as a newbie I'll be focusing on the majors, as per the instruction...

When I hear talk of people "taking half profits and letting the rest run", how does this actually work on mt4? Do you have to open 2 positions and close one? I've noticed on their android mt4 app, there's a "close partial" option but I can't find anything similar on the desktop version. Thanks...
