The first Step is done ...

Thank you and welcome. Renko charts are the bomb. They highlight market structure very clearly and really let you 'see' into the core market behavior, and movement. I plan to write software to test various aspects of Renko charts, and see what sort of Renko edge I can develop based off the...

    Scripts for Opening Trades

I just checked the code and I don't understand what the benefit of this script is. You still have to do all your lot size calculation yourself, input stop price, target price and so on. So there is nothing different from opening a normal buy or sell order in MT4 yourself The only 'extra' this...

    Computer Set Up

Can't beat the duel monitor setup on a pc. For Forex trading purposes, I think you only really need one. Sometimes I will have the markets open on one screeen while working on something else on the other screen.

If two signals appear at the same time, which trade do you take?

You can also split your risk up if two trades form at the same time. Instead of risking $500 on one trade, you could split it, risk $250 on the two trades and not break your money management rules.

How to review the charts quickly & easily

Thanks for the CTRL+TAB trick I hate it when mt4 tiles the windows like that, especially if you hit the button by accident and you can't reverse it lol

    GO Markets Discussion

At the moment I can only recommend Oanda for the US traders. They are big, and have a good reputation. I feel sorry for the us guys - not many good brokers over there.

    Question about indicators

Yes that is possible, but it will need to be manually programmed. Try this indicator that will create the turtle channel for you. Place it on the daily chart. Set to 180, 365 etc etc

    Leave computer running?

No, because it sets up the pending orders straight away - which sit on the brokers end. As long as you see the pending orders places in your trade terminal you don't need to have the panel running. Only if you use the breakout option with the avoid Asia session breakout option - then the panel...

Oanda is probably your best option at the moment.

    Leave computer running?

Yes it does, if you need the panel to do any kind of trade management - like trailing stops. Otherwise, no you don't.
